PERFECT!! At first my cockatiel was a little scared of it, but when he noticed it was putting out heat…he has been sitting next to it ever since. It puts out just enough to keep him comfortable. When I open the blinds in the morning he jumps up to the perch where he gets his day warmth and at night jumps where the heat plate is. So easy to install as well. I wish I would have bought it sooner.
